Funding Details
Government funding covers the cost of childcare provision and the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum only.
It does not cover our full nursery fees, which include our Montessori approach, specialist educators, and a wide range of enrichment activities.
Parents are asked to make a voluntary contribution to cover consumables and additional services, such as:
Specialist Montessori learning and resources
Enrichment activities (sports, music, trips, etc.)
Extras that go beyond the basic EYFS requirements
This contribution is voluntary, but parents who do not wish to pay for additional services should speak with our Office Manager.
Fully funded 15h afternoon-only places
At The Robin Montessori 15h fully funded afternoon sessions (Monday to Friday 1:00pm to 4:00pm, no additional charges) are available and subject to availability. These cover EYFS learning only and do not include extras such as sports, Montessori cycle, music, trips, or holiday clubs.
30 hours funded childcare for working parents
The Robin Montessori offers the extended 30 hours funded childcare for eligible families; however, this is subject to payment of additional fees and a minimum attendance requirement of four full days per week (8:00 am to 4:00 pm, equivalent to 32 hours).
Eligibility
We’ll ask you to provide proof of your child’s date of birth, such as a birth certificate or passport, and to complete the Parental Declaration Form.
From there, we take care of everything. We will claim the funding directly from the local authority on your behalf, there’s no need for you to contact them yourself.
